Paynesville Area Schools Referendum

The Paynesville Area School Board has proposed an operating referendum that will go before eligable voters on November 2, 2021. If passed, this will increase education revenue but $531 per pupil.
This is separate from the building bond that was approved by voters in 2019 for the Community Center (PACC) and CTE project.

Two items to keep in mind as it related to property taxes:
- Seasonal recreational property owners do not pay toward the operating referendum.
- Those owning agricultural land are only levied on their house, garage and one acre.
